The second Tourism Gala has nominated the best representatives of the tourism industry of Moldova in 2016 in a festive ceremony held at the Theater “Eugen Ionesco” on April 7. The aspirants to the title of best in tourism were nominated in 20 categories. Thus, Orheiul Vechi is the most recommended destination for foreign tourists, Carla’s Dreams was named the best ambassador for tourism in Moldova, while the Wine Day was called the event that generates the largest number of foreign tourists.

The title of the best incoming travel agency was conferred on Tatrabis, while Voiaj International was named the best outgoing travel agency. Radison Blu Hotel and Casa de Sub Stanca in Butuceni are the best accommodation facilities in Chisinau and outside Chisinau respectively.

Tatiana Lazar was named the inbound tourism person, while Anatolie Poiata became the outbound tourism person. Potter Vasile Goncear became the best craftsman who promotes the Republic of Moldova.

The wineries and wines are also recommended to tourists. Asconi is the most recommended winery, while Negru de Purcari is the most recommended wine. Wine of Moldova is the best brand that promotes tourism in our country. Vatra Neamului was named the best restaurant with menu of traditional dishes.
