The conception of the automated information system “Register of Tourism” was approved by the Government. By this system, the authorities aim to monitor and ensure beneficiaries’ access to updated information about the tourist sector and tourist patrimony of Moldova, IPN reports.

Each user will be able to access information about the tourist patrimony and to plan the trip. The economic entities will be able to use the system to formulate the tourist offer, based on information about the tourism patrimony and access roads to the tourist facilities.

The system will also serve as an efficient instrument for attracting investments, creating tourist infrastructure and developing tourist facilities. The public authorities will be able to disseminate information about the cultural and sports events of tourist interest staged in Moldova under their auspices.

The Tourism Agency will ensure the development of the system with budget resources earmarked for the purpose and with the contribution of the foreign partners.
