The outlook for this weekend is rainy. Torrential rain will fall in most parts of the country, brought by a southern cyclone that will cross the Republic of Moldova on Saturday. According to the State Weather Service, the amount of precipitation will exceed the norm, in parts by 15 liters to about 50 liters per square meter.

The Meteorological Forecasts Division’s head Gennady Rosca has told IPN that the cyclone coming from the Mediterranean Sea will retreat on Sunday morning, but will return during the same day. The amount of precipitation forecast for one day will reach the values for a whole month.

Temperatures will vary between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Rain will also fall on Monday, but it will be less heavy.
