Top 100 Moldovan managers were handed certificates

VIP Magazin and Moldovan Businessmen’s Association (AOAM) have presented during an official ceremony Moldovan business community’s magazine “Top 100 managers of 2010”. 100 guests, including company owners and managers, economy experts, officials and diplomats, have participated in the event, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the list have been included people such as Catalin Giosan, manager of Pro Digital Chisinau, Andrei Hangan, executive director of Chateau Vartely, Vitalie Iurcu, general manager of Moldtelecom, Alexandru Machedon, founding director of StarNet, Svetlana Manolov, development coordinator of Zorile, Alina Radu, director of Ziarul de Gardă weekly, Silvia Readu, president of Red Union Fenosa, Vicentiu Spataru, general manager of Lemi Invest, Adrian Severovan, general director of Casa Mobilei, Constantin Tanase, director of Timpul de Dimineata daily, Olga Tipordei, commercial director of Dixi Media, Dumitru Tira, general director of Publika TV, Liliana Vitu, head of Moldova 1’s TV Nwes department, Valentina Andreev, manager of Tricon, Iulian Bercu, founder of PR Agency Prifile, Valentin Bodiul, general director of Cricova Winery, Eduard Bunu, executive director of Creator-Iurie Bors and others. Rodica Cioranica, editor-in-chief of VIP Magazin, said this magazine required a lot of difficult work: “It’s hard to choose the best 100 out of a few thousands of managers in Moldova, but it was worth the effort”. “I had the chance to work in Western Europe, in the Middle East and, during the last 10 years, in Moldova. Managers cannot be compared between them, but I admit the amount of skills and quality of managers in Moldova is very high indeed”, said Stephane Bride, executive director of Ernst&Young. Vlad Plahotniuc, founder and president of AOAM, has proposed to transform this event into a traditional annual event. “I want to express my satisfaction seeing you all here, established professionals that I consider an extraordinary resource of this country. Today, here, reading about your ambitions and aspirations comprised by the special VIP Magazin publication, I am starting to believe that we can have not only a future, but also a more solid and productive present. On 2 conditions though: 1) You wanting to be more involved in the country’s macroeconomic decisions and 2) to be considered as the most important national human resource in the process of generating advancement and progress.” The “Top 100 managers of 2010” magazine was published with a 5000 copy draft, and awaiting to be complemented in the first half of the 2011 year. AOAM is a public, nongovernmental, non-profit association that counts within its ranks businessmen with common beliefs regarding social growth by developing the business environment and the support of entrepreneurship for a durable development of Moldova’s economy in the context of EU values. The main AOAM objectives are grouped mainly on 3 areas: legislative initiatives for the optimization of the regulatory framework; Promoting Moldova abroad and the attraction of foreign investments; Programs supporting small and medium sized business and the creation of an efficient investment and business framework.
