“Today we celebrate the exceptional devotion and courage of all the teachers and their capacity to adapt and innovate in challenging and uncertain conditions. These are at the core of global efforts to recover education and are essential in accelerating progress towards inclusive, equitable and high-quality education for each student, in any circumstance”. This is the message disseminated by the deputy head of the Chisinau Division of Education, Youth and Sport Andrei Pavaloi in connection with World Teachers’ Day, IPN reports.

Andrei Pavaloi noted that this day is a good occasion for expressing praise for those whose mission is to educate and form characters, to be the mentors of a number of generations. Being a teacher is a vocation that implies big responsibility towards children and young people whose future the teachers shape by the knowledge they share and by the life example they give.

“Each of us had a model teacher in the university department, who helped us develop our personality and whom we remember with love and gratitude. Education is everyone’s chance to develop, while individual success brings benefits to the whole community. By each completed education cycle, through the agency of refresher courses and experience exchange at international level, everyone’s success and the success of society in general are ensured,” stated Andrei Pavaloi.
