Citizens who want to benefit from on-bill compensations for energy resources will have to register on the platform that will be activated at the beginning of November. The size of compensation will depend on the applicants' income level and family composition. According to Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu, in order to benefit from compensation, citizens must be in the country, IPN reports.
"The compensation system is interconnected with the database of the Border Police. We will be able to make requests to see whether the persons declared within the household are on the territory of the Republic of Moldova or not," the minister told journalists.
"Everything is ready. We are ready. We will stand by the citizens this winter as well. Next week we will provide details, but I want to tell you that we have access to the databases on the social benefits that the people in the household benefit from, the database from the State Tax Service, so that we can understand what the declared income is. We have access to data from the Cadaster Register because we want to see what the assets are, and so on," said Alexei Buzu.
According to him, the authorities made sure that, from a technical viewpoint, everything is ready, and the exchange of data is carried out swiftly so that the citizens are not forced to come with a stack of paper, extracts, copies, etc.
