The travelling regime in the Transnistrian regime will be simplified during the period of the winter holidays. Nine temporary checkpoints will be set up besides the permanent checkpoints. The simplified traveling regime will be applied in the period between December 30 and January 2 and between January 6 and 8, IPN reports.
According to the press service of the Transnistrian leader, there were opened five temporary checkpoints at the border with Ukraine and four checkpoints on the Nistru River. From Ukraine, the travelers will have to go through the additional checkpoints Valea Adanca – Zagnitkovo, Vadul Turkului – Sersenţ, Ploti – Krutye, Tsybulevka – Tsehanovka, and Vinogradovo – Novye Butory. From the right banks of the Nistru, the people will be able to go to the right bank through the checkpoints Hrushca – Nemirovka, Krasnyi Okteabri – Vertiujeni, Rascov – Vadul Rascov, and Teia – Calfa.
The Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk ordered extending the range of products that the people can take with them for personal consumption. He underlined that the movement in the region of police employees who obey the constitutional authorities will be monitored during the winter holidays.
