The procedure for registering farmland in the Transnistrian region was simplified. A decision to this effect was taken by the Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk in order to reduce the burden on persons who cultivate farmland, IPN reports.
According to the press service of the Transnistrian leader, the changes apply to the arable land and land on which there are cultivated multiannual crops, but these plots must not be involved in different disputes.
As a result of the modifications, the land owners will present only the outline sketch of the land, which does not have to contain reference to the central topographic examination and coordination system. The sketch will also not contain the direction angles and length of lines.
The Transnistrian administration said the sketch is made free of charge by the local agriculture services.
