Tiraspol leader, willing to meet Prime Minister Maia Sandu

Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselski argues that he is not opposed to holding talks with Prime Minister Maia Sandu, although such a meeting is not on his current agenda, reports IPN with reference to the region’s media.

At a press conference, the leader from Tiraspol said that in the event of meeting with Prime Minister Maia Sandu, the content of the agenda would be the same, including the following topical issues - economic, social-humanitarian, banking system, telecommunications, etc.

At the same conference, Vadim Krasnoselski said that he planed to address Chisinau authorities with the proposal to pass to the Tiraspol administration the memorial tank, installed as a monument of the Soviet Army in Corneşti, Ungheni district.

According to the Transnistrian leader, it is not guarded, is in a deplorable state and is regularly subjected to vandalism. "This is an IS-3 tank, from a village in the district of Ungheni. It looks really bad. Moreover, from what we know, it is not listed as historical value in Moldova and is in no one's balance. It is simply vandalized. For these reasons, I would like to address the Moldovan leadership: if you cannot protect the historical memory of the Soviet soldier, give it to us," said Vadim Krasnoselski.
