The Moldovan school No.22 in Tiraspol, the Lyceum D. Cantemir, the Linguistics Department of the State Institute for Education Development and the Literature Institute T. Shevchenko kept today a moment of silence in remembrance of Grigore Vieru, Info-Prim-Neo's field correspondent reports. The Romanian-language paper Adevarul Nistrean will publish in its Saturday issue an article about Vieru, authored by Andrei Hropotinschi, literary critic and also head of the Moldovan Language department at the Shevchenko Institute. Dorina Gabuja, head of the Linguistics Department of the State Institute for Education Development, said that, in cooperation with the Moldovans' Union of Transnistria, recitations of well-loved poems by Vieru will be organized in various educational institutions in the region.
