The Transnistrian authorities decided to extend the restrictions imposed in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic until May 15, IPN reports.
Recently, the local cell crisis renewed a number of restrictions, the school vacation being extended for a week. The large-scale events, ceremonies and corporate parties are banned. The public transport on the left side of the Nistru runs according to a special program. The cafes and restaurants work until 10pm and only family members can sit at the same table.
The access of foreigners, including of citizens from the right bank of the Nistru, is restricted. These can enter the region only with the permission of the cell crisis and must do a test for COVID-19 and self-isolate for 14 days when in the region.
So far the Transnistrian region was supplied with 1,810 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the humanitarian aid provided to Moldova by Romania.
