The Transnistrian administration decided to annul the public transport benefits enjoyed by pensioners, parents with many children and other categories of people. The decision is applied starting with January 1, IPN reports.

A Transnistrian TV channel reported that the persons who earlier travelled free by public transport will now pay 1 ruble (1.4 lei). The full fare is 2.5 rubles (3.60 lei) by urban transport and 3 rubles (4.30 lei) by interurban transport.

Only the conscript soldiers can now travel free by public transport.
