Piotr Stepanov left the post of head of the so-called executive of the Transnistrian region. He was substituted by Tatiana Turanskaya, who aims to overcome the crisis experienced by the region’s economy, IPN reports.
According to “Novyi Region” Agency, Tatiana Turanskaya said the region can no longer remain without budget and intense work will be done to draft a bill in this respect. Turanskaya has two weeks to create the team with which she will work.
Tatiana Turanskaya, 40, studied economy at the Odessa State University. She entered the administrative bodies at the end of 2011, after the election of Yevgeny Shevchuk as leader of the region.
