Tiraspol has announced the signing of a new agreement with Chisinau in the energy sector, valid for January 2023. As this month, the Transnistrian region next month will be supplied with 5.7 million cubic meters of gas a day, IPN reports.
For its part, MGRES (Kuchurgan power plant) undertakes to supply electricity to satisfy the needs of the Republic of Moldova, according to the daily average indicators of the previous month. The price of electricity will remain the same.
“This way, the inhabitants of Transnistria, the social institutions and food industry enterprises of the republic will be supplied with gas, heat and hot water in January. The state will take measures to provide the industrial complex of the republic with what it needs to the greatest extent possible,” says a post published by the Tiraspol department of economy.
