Timofti, Yanukovich say Moldovan-Ukrainian relations develop dynamically

Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti had a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Victor Yanukovich in Kiev. The two officials stressed that the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations develop dynamically, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the presidential press service.
The two heads of state expressed their readiness to intensify the bilateral dialogue in all the cooperation areas, including in the commercial sector. Victor Yanukovich said that trade between Moldova and Ukraine last year exceeded US$1 billion and this figure is on the rise.
Nicolae Timofti started his visit to Kiev by laying flowers at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Ukraine’s capital. He was also to meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Nicolai Azarov.
