The legendary rock band Scorpions will perform on Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau on October 14, on the City's Day, Info-Prim Neo reports. “This concert will be different from those staged in Moldova until present. We mean the lights, sound and all the organizational aspects,” said the event's general producer Vlad Constandoi. The Scorpions concert in Chisinau forms part of the band's tour of the world that includes 200 concerts. According to the organizers, the Scorpions did not have many requirements. They asked to be accommodated at a five-star hotel and be offered a conference hall and by a recording booth for every member of the band. The tickets to the concert will be on sale from September 29. Their price will vary between 160 and 500 lei. The organizers said the tickets are cheaper compared with those for the concert given in December in Ukraine, where the price was up to 3,000 lei. A special area for the fans of Scorpions will be set up on the lawn near the stands of Zimbru Stadium. The organizers plan to sell about 20,000 tickets. Scorpions will perform in Moldova for the first time.
