Starting from Friday, paying for the trip at the stationary validators will also be possible in trolleybuses on route 3, the Chisinau City Hall announced.

At present, passengers can pay at stationary validators on trolleybus routes 22, 23, 24 and 30, as well as on bus routes 2 and 5.

Through this validator, travelers can pay with their card, smartphone or smart watch. As soon as they pay through the validator, the passenger receives a payment confirmation notification, either in the bank application or via SMS. If they did not receive a notification, the traveler should check the statement in the mobile application of the bank.

“Do not hold your phone, watch or card near the validator if you do not intend to pay for the trip through the validator. Be cautious, especially if you have an Android phone and have your cards attached to Google Wallet”, warns the municipality.
