Works to combat pests, including ticks, are being carried out in the districts of the capital city. The municipality also continues mowing the grass on street alignments, in parks, forests and squares of Chisinau, IPN reports.

During the ordinary meeting of municipal officials held at the City Hall, Tudor Gîrbu, interim administrator of the Green Spaces Management Association, reminded landowners that they must take all the measures to combat ragweed whose pollen causes allergies.

Before the start of the summer season, the municipal services prepare the beaches in the city by loosening the sandy surface, installing urban furniture, repairing/maintaining the existing furniture and placing new sunloungers and umbrellas.
