The thresholds for low-value public procurement contracts are increased by 50%. A bill that was given a final reading by Parliament says the changes were influenced by the latest impact of inflation, IPN reports.
As a result, for goods and services procurement contracts, the sum rises from 200,000 lei to 300,000 lei. For contracts for the procurement of works, the amount grows from 250,000 lei to 325,000 lei.
For public procurement contracts to buy social services, the threshold is increased from 400,000 lei to 600,000 lei.
