Three young persons who destroyed electoral posters severely beaten
Observers of Promo-Lex Association identified a number of irregularities in the voting process in Chisinau municipality and other settlements of the country where the second round of voting is taking place. Promo-Lex representative Pavel Postica told a news conference that they recorded cases of campaigning and multiple voting attempts, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the observers of the Association, somebody else put their signatures instead of persons written on the rolls at two polling places in Rascani and Buiucani districts of Chisinau. Some of the voters at a polling place in Rascani district found out that foreign persons were registered in their apartments. A dead person was included in an electoral register.
There was identified a multiple voting attempt in Vatra town of Chisinau municipality and multiple cases of campaigning near polling places in Leuseni village of Telenesti district; Marinici, Nisporeni; Radoaia, Sangerei, and at a polling place in Chisinau.
The observers of Promo-Lex also reported a case of use of violence. Three persons were caught destroying election posters of a candidate near a polling place in Stauceni. They were beaten severely and taken to the hospital in an unconscious state. Not many details about the victims and those who beat them are yet known.
Among other irregularities discovered by Promo-Lex are the sale of alcoholic beverages near polling places, violation of public order, organized transportation of voters to polling places by minibuses with symbols of parties on them, inappropriate keeping of the ballots.
Promo-Lex has by one static observer at each of the polling places in the municipality of Chisinau and 45 mobile teams in districts.
