Two girls aged 17 and a 25-year-old man died in road accidents last weekend. In all the three cases, the drivers were speeding, Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo. An Opel-Combo driven by a man aged 26 overturned on the Rezina – Orhei – Calarasi road on May 1. A 17-year-old girl was thrown out of the back window of the car and died on the spot. A Volvo with an Italian registration number driven by a 25-year-old man overturned on the same road the next day. The driver did not survive. In another accident on the Causeni – Anenii-Noi road, a Renault overturned several times. The 17-year-old daughter of the driver was killed, while other members of the family were taken to the hospital. The traffic police had identified 1,017 traffic rules violations during two days.
