Three villages of Ialoveni district aim to create local firefighting post

Three kilometers of road will be lit in the villages Razeni, Cigarleni and Molesti of Ialoveni district within an intercommunity cooperation project supported by the Joint Integrated Local Development Program with a grant of US$100,000. Within the same project, there will be bought equipment for maintaining roads and created garbage dumps. The three villages will also set up by a local firefighting post.

Mayor of Razeni Ion Cretu has told IPN that they will purchase a bulldozer-excavator and will build a warehouse of 100 square meters, with all the necessary conditions for setting up a local firefighting post. The vegetation fires are often and the distance between the villages and the Ialoveni Firefighting and Rescuers Service is 30 km. “Sometimes the assistance comes very late,” stated the mayor.

Ion Cretu also said that there will be lit 3 km of road in the new sectors of the villages and build sewerage systems. The building of the village archive will be repaired and digitized. The community services will be provided by a newly created company, which will also manage the purchased equipment.

The project will benefit over 13,000 residents of the three villages.
