The prosecutors demand jail terms of ten years for three teens who raped a younger mate at a lyceum in Hancesti town in September 2012, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, during a recess the nine-year-old boy studying in the third grade was taken by force by the three tenth graders to the lyceum’s gym and changing room, where he was raped. The victim told what he went through to his parents, who informed the police.
The culprits plead not guilty. The psychiatric assessment showed the tree had discernment when they committed the offense.
The teens will be tried for physically and mentally constraining a minor younger than 14 to have sex, profiting from his inability to defend himself.
