Three railcars of a freight train started to burn on the railroad near the intersection of the Chisinau streets Muncesti and Pandurilor in the evening of April 14. One of the cars burned completely, while the other two were destroyed partially, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the firefighters were alerted at 19.02 and the fire was localized at 19.23. Three firefighting vehicles and a special vehicle of Moldova’s Railway put out the fire.
The cause of fire is yet to be found out. No person was hurt in it.
