Three persons killed in road accidents

Three persons lost their lives in traffic accidents on Monday, November 9. Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the first fatal accident occurred on the Balti-Sarateni route, near Banesti village. An Audi-80 car driven by a citizen of Ukraine struck a man aged 62. The man died on the spot. A 19-year-old man was killed after the minibus that he drove skidded on the wet streets and crashed violently into a car. A cart driver was hit by a Scoda-Octavia car on the Brest-Odessa route, near Parlita village. The 78-year-old man sustained serious injuries and died shortly afterward. A 29-year-old woman traveling in a Nissan car suffered multiple traumas in a road accident at the intersection of Traian Blvd. and Independentei St. The car was hit by a minibus driven by a resident of Malovata village of Dubasari district. The police warn the drivers to be more vigilant and pay attention to the conditions of the street. Five road accidents were recorded in Moldova on November 9. They resulted in three deaths ad one person injured.
