Three persons killed in house fires
Two men aged 61 and 91 died in a fire in Criscauti village of Briceni district. According to the spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu, the fire was caused by a faulty stove.
A 55-year-old man was killed in a house fire in Paustova village of Ocnita district. The body of the man was found by firefighters after the fire was put out, Info-Prim Neo reports.
A teen from Dusmani village, Glodeni may remain disabled after a firecracker exploded in his hand. The case is investigated by the police. The firefighters call on parents to be more cautious and on companies not to sell untested explosive devices.
The 28 fires that happened in Moldova so far this year resulted in eight deaths.
