Three persons killed in fires during three days

One woman and two men were discovered dead in their houses destroyed by fires. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service has told Info-Prim Neo that 26 fires had happened in Moldova over the last three days. They claimed three lives. A man aged 49 from the Gagauz village Chirsova died in a fire caused by a burning cigarette. The body of a 59-year-old woman was found in her bed in Minjir village of Hancesti district after the fire that broke out in one of the rooms was put out. Firefighters are blaming the fire on a candle or a lamp. A man aged 55 was killed in a fire in his home in Sofia village of Drochia district. The 231 fires that occurred in Moldova this year resulted in 43 deaths.
