Three persons injured by a combat grenade
Three persons were injured as result of the explosion of a combat grenade, kept at home.
According to the head of the Press Center of the Exceptional Situations Department, Alexandru Oprea, the incident happened on Wednesday morning, at 9.00, in a household of the village Nimoreni, Ialoveni. Three young men, who were repairing a house, have found a grenade of the type RGD-5 and tried to study it. The explosion injured them.
An inhabitant of the village Rascaeti, Stefan Voda, while firming the plot has found a bomb of the caliber 82 mm, unexploded of the II World War. The bomb was disarmed by a sapper squad.
From the beginning of the year, 39 unexploded bombs of the Second World War were found on the territory of Moldova.
