Two teens from the Transnistrian region have drowned in the Nistru river. In both of the cases, the boys couldn’t swim and were taken away by currents. Frogmen took the bodies out, IPN reports.
A boy aged 16 from Tiraspol went swimming together with his friends. He could not swim and was taken away by currents during a game in the water. The body was found in several days close to Caragaș village.
The other boy aged 13 from Bender went swimming without informing his parents and got into a hole in the river. Two friends of his managed to get out, while he was found dead by rescuers on Friday.
Also, a 28-year-old woman from Tiraspol who went to rest on the bank of the Nistru in Slobozia district tried to swim across the river, but failed to reach the other bank.
