The snow and glazed frost on the roadway caused three passenger minibuses to overturn the same day. After two accidents that occurred in the morning of November 19, at about 7:30am and 8:00am, one more minibus overturned near Sociteni village of Ialoveni district at nearly 3:40pm. The minibus was travelling on the Beșalma – Chisinau route and had 14 persons aboard.

Asked by IPN to provide details, press officer of the Ialoveni Police Inspectorate Silvia Vetcu said the driver of the minibus aged 34 lost control of the vehicle that was appropriately equipped for winter . This skidded off the road and ended up in a ditch. No one needed medical care.

In the other two accidents involving minibuses, near Ustia village of Dubăsari district and on the Leova-Hâncești road, 23 passengers suffered injuries and needed medical care. Four of these sustained more serious injuries.
