Meeting on Wednesday, April 16, the Government approved the appointment of three deputy ministers, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ion Sturzu, deputy head of the Main Tax Inspectorate, has been advanced to the position of Deputy Minister of Finance, responsible for administrating tax revenues. Ex-deputy head of the Government’s administration Oleg Rotaru has been named as Deputy Minister of Information Development. The Government also approved the draft presidential decree appointing Ion Malai as Deputy Minister of Defense. Malai has been serving in MoD for some years. At the same meeting, the Government named Sergiu Satnic as director of the freshly renamed National Regulatory Agency for E-Communication & IT. Satnic, previously department head at the Information Development Ministry, has been appointed to serve for a four-year term.
