The Chisinau City Hall built up three new playgrounds in three courts of apartment buildings in Buiucani, Ciocana and Botanica districts, Info-Prim Neo reports. The playing field in Buiucani was set up in the court where Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca grew up. During the inauguration, the mayor said that the playground forms part of the local administration’s program to create playing fields in the city and its suburbs. According to him, it was a gift that he promised on Easter. Writer Iulian Filip came to the event and brought the children his books. The dwellers who took part in the inauguration said they are glad that their children have a place to play. The head of Buiucani Valeriu Nemerenko has told Info-Prim Neo that this playing field is the ninth put in commission in the district. He stated that municipal funds of about 70,000 lei were spent on the construction of the playground. More than 150 playgrounds have been set up in the municipality of Chisinau so far.
