A baby girl aged three months from Bender town was admitted to the hospital in a serious state after she, out of inattention, was fed on formula milk dissolved in water in which there was citric acid. The girl was placed in intensive care with very serious poisoning, IPN reports.

The Transnistrian authorities said the girl’s father on Thursday evening boiled water with citric acid in the kettle in order to clean this. He forgot yet to tell his wife and didn’t pour the water out either. The next night, the woman used water from the kettle to dissolve formula milk and fed the child.

The woman called an ambulance immediately after she saw that something was wrong. The child was admitted to the hospital together with her mother.

Inspectors for minors are investigating this case.
