Three Moldovans Die in Austria Bus Crash

An autobus transporting 22 passengers from the Republic of Moldova crashed on Friday morning, June 2, near Graz, 35 km far from Vienna, capital of Austria. 3 persons died as a result of the accident, other 19 are injured of which 14 are seriously wounded, informs Info-Prim Neo referring to a press-release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAIE). According to the quoted source, the injured persons were hospitalized in several clinics of the region; those deceased have not been identified at the moment the press release was sent. According to MFAIE, the embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Vienna undertakes all the measures in order to offer all the necessary help to the victims of the accidents. “Caritas-Austria” organization will ensure the accommodation of Moldovan citizens for the night. As well, different actions are undertaken to provide food to the persons involved in the accident. MFAIE notes that for supplementary information, the concerned persons may call the Department of Consular Affairs of MFAIE – 20.40.41, 20.40.49, 20.10.46 and also the Consular Service of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Austria: +43.196.110.30.27.
