Three Moldovan rugby players win Russian Cup

Kranyi Yar, a team boasting three Moldovan players – Oleg Prepelita, Veaceslav Titica and Victor Arhip, won the Russian Cup at rugby, after thrashing Slava Moscow 45-5 in the final, IPN reports.

Prepelita and Arhip were fielded, but Titica missed the game because of an injury. Prepelita was one of the standout players, as he scored two tries.

With this win, Krasnyi Yar now has 8 Russian Cups in its trophy cabinet, the same as VVA Podmoskovie.
