Three minors hurt in road accidents
Three minors required medical care on Monday, October 8, after being injured in road accidents in Chisinau. The same day a young man was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Emergency Hospital with severe wounds suffered in a car accident, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Chisinau Road Surveillance Department, the young man, 21, was hit at the intersection of Pan Halippa and Cosmescu Str. by an Opel-Cadett car, driven by a 22-year old man. The victim was urgently taken to hospital with severe injuries.
A student girl, 17, fell out of a trolleybus after the driver suddenly applied the brakes. The girl injured her knees.
A hit-and-run accident involved a BMW car with Floresti-registered plates and a 17-year-old girl with her younger brother, aged 11. Fortunately, the minors got just minor scratches.
Over the past 24 hours, police officers fined 403 drivers, including 83 for speeding, 92 for wrong manoeuvring, and 11 for drunk-driving.
