Three minors aged six, three and two needed medical care after they got poisoned by fumes emitted by a natural gas boiler. It happened in an apartment building in the municipality of Chisinau on January 9, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the children received medical care at home and didn’t need hospitalization. The first examinations showed the minors most probably suffered carbon monoxide poisoning. Specialists disconnected the natural gas boiler and will examine this thoroughly.
In order to avoid situations of risk during the heating season, the citizens are urged to check all the natural gas installations and to seek help from specialists in case of breakdowns.
