Three killed in road accidents caused by drivers without licenses

Three persons died in car accidents caused by motorists driving without licenses. In Zaim village of Căușeni district, a 60-year-old woman riding a bike was struck fatally by a speeding car driven by a man aged 18. The same day, a car driven by an 18-year-old man overturned in Alexeevca village of Edineț district. The driver and a passenger aged 16 died at the hospital, while another passenger aged 20 was hurt, IPN reports.
 
Another serious accident happened in Rezina. A 37-year-old driver fell asleep and ran the car into a tree. As a result of the impact, his wife and their one-year-old child suffered injuries, while their second child aged six died on the spot.

A boy aged 17, who was travelling in a car driven by an inebriated man, died in an accident on August 23. The same day, a man aged 61 was crushed to death by a tractor in Roșcani village of Anenii Noi district.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, 27 grave road accidents that resulted in six deaths and 32 persons hurt occurred on the national roads on August 22 and 23.
