Three persons needed medical care and were taken to the hospital when a bus parked on Vasile Alecsandri St in Chisinau started to move backward in the asbence of the driver. On a distance of 300 meters, this struck 15 cars. One of the cars caught fire, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the firefighters put out the fire swiftly.

The bus was running on route No. 47 and had no passengers on board when the accident occurred.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said that 12 of the damaged cars were parked, while three were moving.
