Three direct flights to Italy available at half-price
Moldavian Airlines has launched direct flights from Chisinau to three Italian cities - Rome, Venice, and Milan. The prices start from €85 for a flight, with all taxes included. Related statements were made by Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the president of Moldavian Airlines Nicolae Petrov during the launch of the Chisinau-Venice flight on Monday evening, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vlad Filat said the launch of these flights is an important step taken by the Government as the Moldovans will enjoy transport of a high quality to several destinations. In this connection, he announced that the agreement on joining the EU airspace will be signed in the meeting of the Moldova-EU Cooperation Council on June 26.
Nicolae Petrov said the flights will be operated by the planes Boeing-737 and Fokker 100 that have a capacity of 148 seats and, respectively, 105 seats. They provide an increased degree of comfort and safety.
The three flights will be initially available two times a week: Chisinau – Rome (Fiumicino) on Tuesday and Sunday; Chisinau-Milan (Bergamo) on Wednesday and Saturday, and Chisinau – Venice on Monday and Friday.
