Not all the members of the Communist Party agree with the policy pursued by the party’s leaders and three of them are ready to vote in the head of state, unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea, chairman of the Democratic Action Party, said in a press beefing on Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”The Democratic Action Party discussed with Communist MPs and identified three persons who are ready to vote for the candidate of the Alliance for European Integration. We now invite the leaders of the AEI to discuss on October 3 the government program and the platforms for which the people elected them,” said Mihai Godea. He informed that the negotiations with the AEI will be based not only on principles and values, but also on a series of commitments on the part of the ruling parties. The lawmaker did not make public the names of the three MPs, but said they are trustworthy persons who said they will vote and their decision is not aimed against the Community Party or another party. Mihai Godea also said that he expects the leaders of the AEI will confirm their attachment to democratic government in Moldova and to the country’s European future.
