Three Chisinau kindergartens that were closed will restart work by this yearned, after they are repaired. The head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb Monday said the kindergartners will be reopened following a large number of requests made by parents, IPN reports.

The three kindergartens are: kindergarten No. 137 under the Theoretical Lyceum “Stefan cel Mare” situated in Rascani district, the kindergarten under secondary school No. 7 located on Milesti St in Centru district, and a kindergarten in Codru commune.

Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said the applications to enroll the children in kindergartens are by 200-300 higher in number than the previous years. About 25,000 children attended the kindergartens of the municipality of Chisinau five-six years ago, but now this figure stands at 35,000. There are 156 kindergartens in the municipality.
