Three children’s hospitals in Chisinau received modern diagnostic and treatment equipment bought with the support of the German Government.
According to the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Children no. 1, the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Children “Valentin Ignatenco” and the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases for Children received X-ray machines, monitors for monitoring vital functions , pediatric beds, laboratory analyzers, disinfection equipment and other essential medical items.
Each year, the three municipal hospitals care for over 23 thousand children.
The procurement of equipment is part of a support package for Moldovan communities in the management of the refugee crisis, worth 4 million euros, offered by the German Government through the “Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova” Project, implemented by GIZ Moldova.
