Three children are now recovering in hospital from injuries caused by traffic accidents on Chisinau's roads on Thursday. The youngest child is a 3-year-old girl, who suffered brain concussion and frontal contusion as the car in which she was traveling collided with another vehicle on Calea Basarabiei Street. The girl was admitted to the Mother & Child Center. An 8-year-old boy was admitted with the same diagnosis to Hospital no.3 after he was struck by a BMW car while he was attempting to cross Zelinski Street. Elsewhere, an Opel car was to blame for the hospitalization of a 16-year-old boy, who apparently suffered an intracerebral hematoma.
