Three candidates will be competing for the post of mayor of Târnova village of Dondușeni district in the local mayoral elections of September 6, IPN reports.
The list of candidates on the ballot is topped by Victor Bodorin. He runs on behalf of the Party of Socialists which he intends to join. He is a former member of the Party of Communists, which he joined in 1984. Victor Bodorin was born in 1964. He is married, but does not have children. He has held the post of mayor of Târnova on an interim basis since November 12, 2019. Earlier, he served a three-year term as deputy mayor. During the Soviet period, he worked as a driver, mechanic, chief engineer at a local company. He studied mechanics and is a driver by profession. According to his income statement, during January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019, he earned 54,000 lei in salary. He owns four agricultural lots and two units of transport.
The Democratic Party’s candidate Ion Lisnic, a former member of the Party of Communists, is under No. 2. He has served as a local councilor for nine years and also as a deputy mayor during the last four years. Earlier, since 1992 he had worked abroad as a seasonal worker. Before going abroad, he managed the Adolescents Club of Baraboi village of the same district and also the painting class. He is a teacher by profession and has secondary education in painting and teaching. He is 56. He is married and has two children and grandchildren. According to his income statement, during January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019, he earned 4,500 lei in salary as a local councilor. He owns seven agricultural lots, a house and an apartment, two cars and a bank account with 350,000 lei.
Independent candidate Oleg Lisnic is under No. 3. He is out of work at present. During January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019, he earned 28,000 lei incomes from his job at SRL “Teo Vera”. Since 2001, he has owned four agricultural lots, while since 2020 a building that was donated to him. He declared debts totaling 140,000 lei to two banks.
The new local elections are held following the resignation tendered by the mayor who chose to serve as the head of Dondușeni district.
