Three candidates will be competing for the post of mayor of Nucăreni village of Telenești district in the new mayoral elections of September 6, IPN reports.
The list of candidates on the ballot is topped by Serghei Rusu. He runs on behalf of the Democratic Party of Moldova, which he joined four years ago. He is 40, is married and has two children. He has secondary education in agriculture and has held the post of mayor of Nucăreni on an interim basis since last December. According to his property statement, he owns 28 agricultural lots, a house to the value of €9,600, eight agricultural machines and a Ford Tranzit car.
The second on the ballot is Sergiu Lașcu, of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova. He became a member of this party ten years ago. He worked as a stoker and as a guard at the local kindergarten. He served as a local councilor for eight years. This Januarys, he was named cadastral engineer. He also ran for mayor 12 years ago. He is 45, is married and has three children. He has higher education in agronomy. According to his property statement, he possesses 20 agricultural lots, two houses and a garage. He owns four motor vehicles and a trailer.
Iurie Chernolev, of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, is the third on the list. He became a party member not long before the local elections of last yearend. He is 35, has higher education in political sciences and is a teacher by profession. He is married and has three children. He also ran in the local elections of 2019. According to his property statement, he owns a house, a building to the value of 20,000 lei and a 34% shareholding in SRL “Vimlac”.
The new elections in the village will be held following the resignation of the mayor who opted for the post of head of Telenești district.
