Three cabs were involved in traffic accidents in Chisinau, on Monday. In the first case, two cabs belonging to different taxi services collided with each other in a crossroad. Chisinau Road Security Service inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that as a result of the accident two persons were injured. It occurred at the crossroad of Ion Luca Caragiale with Suceava Street at 23.00. A Daewoo-Nexia, taxi service 1448, driven by a man aged 27 collided with an Opel-Astra, taxi service 1477 driven by a young man aged 21. As a result of the collision, the driver of Opel-Astra suffered concussion of the soft tissues of the head, and his passenger, a woman aged 25 – concuss plague. Another cab, Opel-Omega, taxi service 1400, driven by a man aged 25 collided with a concrete fence in Codru town on 6.00, after he lost control of the car in a curve. He suffered concussion of the soft tissues of the face. A minor was injured in a road accident occurred at the crossroad of Muncesti and Bacioii-Noi Street. A MAZ truck driven by a resident of Anenii-Noi aged 32, collided with a Hyundai, driven by a young man aged 20. The passenger aged 11, travelling in the Hyundai, suffered trauma of the internal organs and several concussions. On Dacia Boulevard, at 18.30, a Citroen collided with a bicyclist aged 27, who suffered several traumas. 26 traffic accidents occurred in the municipality of Chisinau on Monday, as a result of which 6 persons were injured, including 2 teenagers. 424 drivers were fined during the day, 15 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 68 for speeding, and 59 for ignoring the stoplight.
