Four persons, among whom was a child, died as a result of a road accident on the R-1 road in Bahmut village of Călărași district on Friday evening. Another two persons were rushed to the hospital. The collision involved a car and a cart.

The four persons are members of a family. Two persons were taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

The driver was subject to a breathalyzer test and this was negative. Blood samples were also taken from him and are to be examined.

The press reported that the car was driven by an employee of the Ungheni Prosecutor’s Office. Contacted by IPN for details, officials of the Prosecutor General’s Office said that a press release will be released on the issue.
