In 2018 Moldova will be visited by a number of Presidents. The President of Belarus is the first to come to Moldova. His visit was scheduled for April, President Igor Dodon announced in the program “Direct Access” on NTV Moldova channel, IPN reports.

Igor Dodon said his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Moldova in May-June. They will both take part in the inauguration of the Presidential Building that is being renovated.

The President of Hungary Janos Ader is to confirm his visit to Moldova, which could take place after the April 8 parliamentary elections of Hungary.

For the first time, a visit to Moldova could be paid by the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella with whom Igor Dodon is having discussions, as this said.

As regards visits abroad, Igor Dodon said he was invited to visit European states and member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States and also the United States of America and he will accept these invitations.
