The Chisinau City Hall signed a contract with a commercial bank that transferred the first tranche of 55 million lei for assembling trolleybuses in Chisinau, Mayor General Ion Ceban announced through a video on his Facebook page, being quoted by IPN.
“By the end of this year, we must increase the number of trolleybuses by 35, as the contract provides,” said the mayor.
“The specification for buying 100 new trolleybuses has been finalized. The tendering procedures will be launched in the nearest future.”
